(formerly Ann Arbor First Church of the Nazarene)
The Church of the Nazarene has been in Ann Arbor about 80 years.
We are disciples of Jesus Christ who believe what the Bible teaches about:
It is our desire to be a part of our community, not just residents. We are committed to serving our neighbors. “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: Love your neighbor as yourself.” (Matthew 22:37-39)
We recognize we are surrounded by needs, both physical and spiritual. It is our desire to assist our neighbors with these needs utilizing our available talents and resources. “Finally, all of you, live in harmony with one another; be sympathetic, love as brothers, be compassionate and humble.” (1 Peter 3:8)
In this world that suffers from lack of hope, we find our hope in Jesus Christ, and it is our desire to share the message of hope with all who will listen. “May our Lord Jesus Christ himself and God our Father, who loves us and by his grace gave us eternal encouragement and good hope, encourage your hearts and strengthen you in every good deed and word.” (2 Thessalonians 2:16-17)
If it is your desire to serve in a relevant church that is making a difference in its community.
